Maintenance steering

We delegate the management of operational maintenance of multi-technical installations.

The principal task of maintenance steering is to operationally manage corrective and preventive maintenance at our clients’ sites.

Profile

Having trained as a maintenance engineer or experienced maintenance technician,
you can prove similar experience, ideally in an aeronautical- or automotive-type industrial environment.

This experience will demonstrate your skill in the following domains:

Technical skills in electricity, robotics, mechanics, hydraulics and climate.
The ability to analyse and synthesise
Attraction to field work and technique
The ability to run and lead meetings / projects (steering, communication etc.)
Know how to use problem-solving methodologies / analysis and/or diagnostic tools (5P, PDCA etc.)

Beyond your professional experience, you will be expected to have a strong feeling for clients, common sense, rigour and autonomy.

Task

Maintenance steering tasks are as follows:

Management of preventive, regulatory and metrological maintenance:

Scheduling maintenance with the help of CMMS.
Preparing maintenance and site meetings.
Monitoring maintenance, compliance with ranges and safety.
Evaluating service quality.
Optimising and developing maintenance ranges.

Management of corrective maintenance:

Co-ordinating with the help of CMMS.
Steering maintenance service providers.
Optimising corrective maintenance operations (5P, PR management etc.)
Evaluating service quality

Management of the relationships between the various maintenance players.

Communicating regarding progress
Organisation of maintenance

Proposing improvements to safeguard equipment

Analysing breakdowns
Making assessments and proposing improvements for greater reliability

Managing maintenance sub-contractors:

Access to sites and prevention plans.
Safety audit and management of safety non-compliance

Maintenance Technical Assistant

Every industrial process is equipped with measuring instruments. Without monitoring and a rigorous checking of these instruments, this process would quickly fail.

The main task of the MTA is the checking, the metrological calibration and technical and administrative management of these captors and measurement chains.

The MTA proposes and also makes available to our clients complete metrological solutions which are perfectly appropriate to their most varied needs.

Profile

With a BTS or DUT training in physical measurement and a minimum of two years’ experience, you will prove your experience as a metrological technician, ideally in an aeronautical- or automotive-type industrial environment.

Your experience will demonstrate your skill in the following domains:

General metrology (metrological checking and calibration of captors, knowledge of the key features of a calibration certificate and a metrological check declaration etc.)
Mastery of the following physical values: Temperature, pressure, effort and exertion / Liquid and Gaz current and flow
Definition and calculation of measurement uncertainties of a measurement chain
Management of a metrological pool (5S, optimisation of metrological frequency etc.)

Task

The task of a Maintenance Technical Assistant (MTA) is split into three activities:

Store management
Checking metrological equipment
Technical assistance

The activity of store management consists in managing requests for the loan of instruments, the frequency of checking metrological devices and optimising the metrological instrument park, while guaranteeing customers’ needs.

Regarding metrological checking, you should carry out:

The metrological checking or calibration of the laboratory measuring equipment, including the drafting of calibration observations and metrological verification certificates.
The administrative follow-up of these operations, up-dating the customer’s CMMS and archiving certificates and observations according to the customer’s procedures.

Lastly, you will be able to help the customer:

In defining the measurement chain to be put in place in order to respond to his needs in the best way
In the setting up of the measurement chain
In carrying out a pre-diagnostic report in the case of the failure of the measurement chain.

Maintenance method

The availability of our customers’ installations and therefore their reliability are major issues in their industrial strategy and production objectives.

The tasks of the P2M Maintenance Method are principally to improve our customers’ FMD indicators via plans to improve the reliability of their installations and the development and deployment of innovative tools and technical solutions.

Having trained as an engineer or having a minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance methods, you will provide proof of similar experience, ideally in an aeronautical- or automotive-type industrial environment.

This experience will demonstrate your skill in the following domains:

The ability to analyse and synthesise
Attraction to field work and technique
The ability to run and lead meetings / projects (steering, communication etc.)

Task

In further detail, the main tasks are as follows:

To be the maintenance representative in industrial projects so as to ensure that the final deliverables are maintainable in compliance with the FMD criteria established by our customers.
To establish and steer the deployment of measures leading to increased reliability, up to the measurement of their effects, in order to ensure that the objectives initially planned at the launch of the project are reached.
To be a force for bringing forward proposals regarding the triggering of reliability files following operational results (FMD) of our customers’ installations.
To identify and check the obsolescence of our customers’ installations and to supply a quantitative action plan for countering risks (in size order) for any obsolescence.
To intervene as methodological support with operational teams during the diagnosis of complex breakdowns and to be a force for proposing measures to improve performance.
To establish, improve and optimise maintenance schedules / ranges of installations of our customers.
To participate actively in projects for the development and improvement of processes, standards and tools for P2M and our customers.
To carry out audits at the various customer sites in order to ensure that customers’ processes and standards and those internal to P2M are complied with.
To keep watch on new maintenance techniques and methods, particularly everything in relation to digital transformation and maintenance 4.0 (conditional, provisional maintenance etc.).
